About the Author

John Steckley has been teaching at Humber College since 1983. He also taught at Memorial University, Trent University, and Laurentian University. John writes prolifically, publishing 12 popular books for Aboriginal Studies, Canadian Justice Studies, Socio-Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, and Sociology.

John was adopted into the Wyandot tribe of Kansas in 1999, and given the name Tehaondechoren – “He splits the country in two.”
